Continuing the theme “Notes from the Sea,” and returning to paintings on canvas and paper, this work draws on the handmade circular paper pieces. Sea plants and creatures, and machine parts, continue to intermingle and morph into one another, in a circular dance. However, now there is a more ominous reference: the spectre of deep sea mining, which would strip the ocean floor, setting its myriad undiscovered life forms either adrift or destroyed.
